A good sized floating hospital with the services that WASB offers will create it´s own specific network of local businesses and spin-off companies where it is placed.
WASB’S floating hospitals will need staff, food and beverage deliveries, laundry and different cleaning services, patient transport by river, by land and by air, maintanence and spare part servicies, centre for investigation, teaching, surveillance and security, logistics, recycling and waste managment just to mention a few.
To enable all this there is a need for a supply chain and management. This will create the need of local work forces within several sectors.
